It's not a regular posting time for me, but I just picked up a bunch of cheap posters that are not that special. I thought I'd post them now so as not to clutter my post next time.

BEYOND THE DOOR:

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. I really dig this stupid rip-off of THE EXORCIST and ROSEMARY'S BABY. I like vintage shots of San Francisco (having lived there, it's interesting to note the changes) and how the family (that supposedly lives there) frequents well-known tourist spots. That would NOT happen in real life. I have this poster already as well (probably more than one?), but the copy I KNOW I have I put into a crappy cheap frame and the bottom has gotten damaged.

JASON X:

Jason in space! I already have this 10th Friday the 13th movie poster, but it was cheap and came with a bonus I didn't have (and which I'll save for my next proper post).

ANGUISH:

I've never seen this movie, i don't think. Interesting poster---all of the eyeballs behind Zelda Rubenstein, the diminutive actress from POLTERGEIST (she got a job?). It's probably a crap film? Anyone see it?

I, MADMAN:

I've not seen this either...I don't think. Interesting art though. The killer sneaks up on a girl reading a book with an image of a killer sneaking up on a girl. Clever.

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2024 #5

And I'm back... This, I think, will be my final post of new posters. I had a few leftover posters from last time...and got others to fill out this post and get this done. I can't afford anything anymore and really, with my diminishing health, I should STOP collecting. TANYA'S ISLAND: This was a cheap grab. I've never seen the movie, but have long wanted this poster. It's so doofy looking. This movie has been on my radar since its release--and it is amazingly hard to find. (As I said, I have NOT seen it yet.) From what I understand, it's basically KING KONG, but with a normal-sized ape (aka man in a bad moneky suit--based on the pictures I've seen) and a bit naughtier. (Hence the R-rating.) D.D. The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2024: Special Edition #1

Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. This edition is a bit different. As you may know, with certain exceptions that may come my way, I've by and large stopped buying posters. This post isn't about new posters. Instead it is about my first experiencing linenbacking posters. If you've read any of my posts before, you will know that I am NO FAN of linenbacked posters. However, as my collecting days were slowing/coming to an end, getting things on linen seemed to be the only way I'd be ever able to enjoy certain posters if I wanted them. I now have several linenbacked posters in my collection. I'm about to have four more... I am still working through a move I made 2 years ago. I am trying to get my poster collection organized in some sort of manner. I am still going through boxes and tubes, trying to frame them or add them to my flat file drawers (or set them aside for either auction or to donate to thrift stores). The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2024: #6

I wasn't planning on buying any more posters. On top of all of my other many health ailments, I have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. That is effectively taking me out of the game permanently. However, I have a handful of posters I had purchased or had bids on (but didn't expect to win). These leftovers (and there are -- gasp! --15 of them!?!) I'm not planning on sharing on other poster websites as I usually do. They are just here to be complete. THE ANTICHRIST (Australian) : I love the EXORCIST ripoffs.
