Monster A GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show

  Welcome back! While I still have a few outstanding bids as I write this (and I’ll probably be outbid on all of it), I believe my bidding/buying mania has subsided. Thank goodness. Barring wins on those few things still outstanding, this will hopefully be my LAST post (at least of new purchases. I’m working on one on going through my poster rolls, framing, etc.) for a long while. So, I hope you already grabbed your Goobers and Jujubes  because the show is starting now. Why wait??? The lights are dimming… BRING HER BACK : I already got one of these, not too long back, but it got damaged in the mail. This one apparently has a slight damage to the upper side, but I risked it anyway. I haven’t seen the movie although I know it’s out now. It will probably never come to my town. But this poster kind of creeps me out. The movie is probably gonna suck, and I probably should’ve waited for words to get out whether it’s good or not, but I just couldn’t not get a copy of this poster whil...

  UPDATE-A-GO-GO: The framing frenzy has continued. Below is a whole new crop of newly framed posters I am anxious to get up on my walls. Take a peek if you like. There's no extra charge! CRY OF THE WEREWOLF: I only got this poster a few months ago--not long before my move. I had never seen this poster before or heard of this flick. I still have not seen the film, but am thrilled to have this poster and was frantic to find it when I started framing things. It's not the most exciting poster--but it's an older, obscure horror title and that makes it exciting to me. MESSIAH OF EVIL: What a delight to have this rare-ish poster for the obscure MESSIAH OF EVIL. From what I read, the producers of AMERICAN GRAFITTI were making the film and ran out of money--leaving it unfinished. Some enterprising person came along, bought the footage, and assembled what there was of it. The movie doesn't make a whole lot of sense--but it is fascinating to watch anyway.  It's that time of the year again--the END. While 2021 was a better year than 2020, it still had a lot to be desired. But that's not to say it was a bad year for poster acquisitions---at least from my perspective. I didn't buy all that many---certainly far fewer than in previous years. However, in preparing this list and looking back on what I got in 2021, I was really pleased with what I had scored.  The ones I've added to this year's list are my favorite pickups. Some things will be noticeably absent, such as my original STAR WARS or CHINATOWN or even the obvious horror hit HALLOWEEN KILLS. While all of those are nice (as are many others I picked up as well), the ones below are the ones that really "did it" for me. Take a gander, if you will.
