The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2022 #3--the LAST one?

Not that anyone has noticed my absence of late, but the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show has come to a close. What, you say? How can this be? I've come up against so much in the last few years. My neuro-muscular disease is incurable and unstoppable and degenerative. That's the main thing robbing me of my fun and my passions. Now that social security has officially deemed me "disabled" I can just sit back and collect the checks. Is that what you are thinking? Those monthly checks are, for some reason, almost nothing. Yep, somehow I am supposed to live on less than $700 a month. Crazy, huh? I've worked hard all my life, get a disease and am screwed the rest of my days. But while I live out my bad TV Movie of the Week life (Tonight, a nice man gets a mysterious neuro-muscular disease and his life slowly starts falling apart [all before the first commercial] before dying in the fina...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2021 #16

The movers are coming! And, what's this? ANOTHER poster post? What??? I know. I know. I do not have time for this, but here we are anyway. I've got another box to pack. If you'll excuse me, I'll let you wander through today's poster show on your own... FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 3D (3D Glasses) : I saw this flick TWICE when it came out in 1983 and kept both pair of glasses. Have I seen them while going through boxes and stuff for my move? Nope! I ran out of time--with many boxes left yet to be explored (Man, I've got a LOT of crap!)--and just went ahead and bought this pair when they showed up on eBay. I can always resell them later, I am sure. I've seen lots of other pairs of supposed authentic 3D glasses for this film come and go. The red and blue lenses were NOT the ones from the original release. (I'm old . I was there . I know .) These, with the lame doodle of Jason's arm stabbing a poker (presumably through the viewer's right eye!?!) are what ...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2020 #5

Greetings! Welcome. You DARED to return for more vintage movie poster shocks, horrors and surprises, huh? It is a pretty mixed bag this time, but I do hope you enjoy your visit. There are 11 (yes, a BONUS poster) this time. It may be my last post of this type for a long, long while, so I wanted to get everything up I've recently gotten.  Why is it my last new poster purchase post for a long time? Well, I'll get to all of that later. Go catch the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. The lights are just starting to dim.... THAT'LL BE THE DAY  (British quad) : I was totally unfamiliar with this title (that apparently was successful enough to spawn a sequel called STARDUST) when I spotted this British quad. It's a little rough (missing a corner) and not anything I wanted really. It just came with the quad below it (which I wanted). Sooo...   I think the illustration of David Essex looks more like Paul Le Mat as he looked in AMERICAN GRAFFITI. I love the ad on...
