Monster A GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show

2020 is coming to a close---THANK GOODNESS! With the coronavirus, all of the deaths and the need to shelter in place, etc., it has been a decidedly CRAPPY year. That same feeling of BLAH has carried over to my poster purchases as well. Looking at my Top 10 favorite movie poster acquisition choices for 2020 (I've been working on my list all year--adding and subtracting things as I've gone along), while I have things I am very happy with (or should be happy with), the year overall seemed disappointing, poster-wise. I have ten selected. There's also a "runner up" because, even though I feel I should like No. 10, I'm still not convinced I do like it....so I've listed what would have been No. 10 otherwise as a runner up. HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone. I hope your holiday season was festive and fabulous. To kick off the new year I have some new (to me) posters, Whoo hoo! Here's the countdown: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Happy new posters!!!! Have some champagne and let's take a look: NEW YEAR'S EVIL: I already have a couple of copies of this and didn't need another. However, what better way to start off a new poster year than with a New Year's-themed movie poster? NEW YEAR'S EVIL was an early holiday horror flick, cashing in on the success of HALLOWEEN, hot on the heels of PROM NIGHT, MOTHER'S DAY, and FRIDAY THE 13TH (all from 1980). Roz Kelly is best known for playing Fonzie's girlfriend Pinky Tuscadero on HAPPY DAYS for a couple of episodes. She has since sunk into obscurity (much like this film).
