The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2021 #17

Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. And guess what? I am finally MOVED! I have new (to me) naked walls to fill up with my amazing posters. Hooray! My house is on a hillside and there is this one bedroom-sized room in the basement (It's not really a basement--but there's nothing down there except the garage--which I do not use--and this one room) that I hope to eventually transform into a home tiki bar. The stairway down to it, I intend to try and make look jungle-y with vines and tiki-esque decor. As a way to incorporate my love of movie posters with tiki, I plan on framing and hanging some of my jungle-themed posters in the stairway. Things, like some of my TARZAN posters or my recent ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY half sheet, or even my JUNGLE HEADHUNTERS one sheet or posters like HULA HULA will work. But I am getting way ahead of myself. That won't happen for quite a while yet. In the meantime, here is a look at my latest acquisitions: THE WAYWARD BUS: I'm the firs

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2021 Special Edition: Top 20 Poster Purchases During 2021

It's that time of the year again--the END. While 2021 was a better year than 2020, it still had a lot to be desired. But that's not to say it was a bad year for poster acquisitions---at least from my perspective. I didn't buy all that many---certainly far fewer than in previous years. However, in preparing this list and looking back on what I got in 2021, I was really pleased with what I had scored.  The ones I've added to this year's list are my favorite pickups. Some things will be noticeably absent, such as my original STAR WARS or CHINATOWN or even the obvious horror hit HALLOWEEN KILLS. While all of those are nice (as are many others I picked up as well), the ones below are the ones that really "did it" for me. Take a gander, if you will. They are in reverse order--with my Number 1 poster pick at the bottom. You can click on the titles to see the original post when I first shared them--and what I wrote about them at the time, if you want. 20:  HELP:

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2021 #16

The movers are coming! And, what's this? ANOTHER poster post? What??? I know. I know. I do not have time for this, but here we are anyway. I've got another box to pack. If you'll excuse me, I'll let you wander through today's poster show on your own... FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 3D (3D Glasses) : I saw this flick TWICE when it came out in 1983 and kept both pair of glasses. Have I seen them while going through boxes and stuff for my move? Nope! I ran out of time--with many boxes left yet to be explored (Man, I've got a LOT of crap!)--and just went ahead and bought this pair when they showed up on eBay. I can always resell them later, I am sure. I've seen lots of other pairs of supposed authentic 3D glasses for this film come and go. The red and blue lenses were NOT the ones from the original release. (I'm old . I was there . I know .) These, with the lame doodle of Jason's arm stabbing a poker (presumably through the viewer's right eye!?!) are what
