Monster A GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show

  And I'm back... This, I think, will be my final post of new posters. I had a few leftover posters from last time...and got others to fill out this post and get this done. I can't afford anything anymore and really, with my diminishing health, I should STOP collecting.  TANYA'S ISLAND: This was a cheap grab. I've never seen the movie, but have long wanted this poster. It's so doofy looking. This movie has been on my radar since its release--and it is amazingly hard to find. (As I said, I have NOT seen it yet.) From what I understand, it's basically KING KONG, but with a normal-sized ape (aka man in a bad moneky suit--based on the pictures I've seen) and a bit naughtier. (Hence the R-rating.) D.D. Okay---welcome back! And, I promise, this is my LAST salute to CINERAMA. Ha! All of the remaining Cinerama pictures I plundered from the internet are here. (And, since there are so many photos, you get more than 10 posters this time! Yowza!) Hang on tight and get ready for an action-packed, ultra-widescreen ride as the SHOCK-O-RAMA POSTER SHOW is ready to take off again... WITHOUT WARNING (aka IT CAME WITHOUT WARNING ) : I do remember seeing this flick in the theater (under the "Without Warning" moniker) and I remember liking it. I am almost positive that it was a double bill, but--even though I can tell you what theater I saw it in--I can NOT remember what the other movie was. Hmm. I don't remember much about the movie, but that it was kind of a nifty lil flick. The ending was a bit of a surprise, but I don't want to give anything away. I am sure I have a copy or two of this poster already---but dummy me can't seem to help buying the same poste...

Here we go--first batch: THE MAN WHO CRIED WOLF: First, I am most thrilled with this poster acquisition from earlier this year---and it is 78 years old! It's Universal's "The Man Who Cried Wolf"! In 1937, Universal already had "Dracula" (1931), "Frankenstein" (1931), "The Mummy" (1932) and "The Invisible Man" (1933) under its belt. "The Wolfman" wouldn't show up until 1941, but it was still a time when the studio, which was doing very well with horror thrillers (and their sequels), was at its peak.
