Monster A GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show

  Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. And guess what? I am finally MOVED! I have new (to me) naked walls to fill up with my amazing posters. Hooray! My house is on a hillside and there is this one bedroom-sized room in the basement (It's not really a basement--but there's nothing down there except the garage--which I do not use--and this one room) that I hope to eventually transform into a home tiki bar. The stairway down to it, I intend to try and make look jungle-y with vines and tiki-esque decor. As a way to incorporate my love of movie posters with tiki, I plan on framing and hanging some of my jungle-themed posters in the stairway. Things, like some of my TARZAN posters or my recent ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY half sheet, or even my JUNGLE HEADHUNTERS one sheet or posters like HULA HULA will work. But I am getting way ahead of myself. 2020 is coming to a close---THANK GOODNESS! With the coronavirus, all of the deaths and the need to shelter in place, etc., it has been a decidedly CRAPPY year. That same feeling of BLAH has carried over to my poster purchases as well. Looking at my Top 10 favorite movie poster acquisition choices for 2020 (I've been working on my list all year--adding and subtracting things as I've gone along), while I have things I am very happy with (or should be happy with), the year overall seemed disappointing, poster-wise. I have ten selected. There's also a "runner up" because, even though I feel I should like No. 10, I'm still not convinced I do like it....so I've listed what would have been No. 10 otherwise as a runner up. Hello! Welcome back to a most unexpected new edition of the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show! Why unexpected? Because I wasn't going to buy any posters for a while due to an upcoming move. However, against my better judgement, I bought another poster "lot". Most of the posters were crap (and I WILL spare you those). I was after one specific poster, of course...and got the other (mostly) trash just for that one title. In addition, since I got the lot, I picked up a couple of other things (since I knew I'd now need to pull a post together). What that means is---oh JOY!--only 8 of these posters (instead of all 10) are from the lot. So don't expect to be blown away (at all)! While I'm at it, another post of projects I've been working on has been sitting idle for a long, long while. I've decided to tack it on at the bottom of this post.
