The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025: Special Edition #2: The Best of 2025

Another year has come to a close… And what do I have to show for it? Posters, posters, posters! Despite my continued battle with cancer and second round of chemo, lasting six months… It has been an amazingly bumper crop for posters this year. Zowie! In fact, instead of 10, I’m gonna share 20 of my favorite purchases of 2025. So sit back and let the poster goodness wash over you. Here we go: DEMONOID : As bad as this awful movie is, you can’t deny that the poster is awesome It is certainly better than the movie itself. It actually has little to do with the movie. Ha ha ha. I was glad to pick this up even though I could’ve bought it years ago at a much cheaper price. I didn’t appreciate the actual artwork because I hated hated hated the movie so much. I’m super glad to have this now and it will be going up on a wall eventually ORGY OF THE DEAD: Zowie! I never ever ever thought I would have one of these. Ed Wood titles are so hard to come by. The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2023 #1

Happy new year and welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show! It's the first day of the new year and...what? I'm B-A-C-K with a new post already? How is that possible when I'm so poor? It's called freebies from the theater. (I'm not proud. I'll gladly take them!) But let's take a look quickly. I know you are hung over and/or have games to watch today. Let's get this poster show on the road... BLACK ADAM : I am no superhero fan. I did not (and probably never will) see this flick. Why the poster then? It was a free one.  EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE (Advance) : I have no idea what this flick is about. I'd never heard of it. This was a freebie in a box of rolled posters. I could see the googly eyes showing on the end of the rolled poster, was intrigued, and snagged it.  BROS : The free poster caravan continues with this thing. Never heard of it. Whatever. It was free. STRANGE WORLD (Advance) : I bought one of these posters awhile back. I found...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2022 #1 with BONUS Update:

Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show...and happy new year! I have a few new purchases to share--but only a few. You see, I've been busy. Since moving in early November, I've been living in a house with bare walls. O' the HORROR of it all. That will never do. So, I've been busy framing. But we'll get to that momentarily. In the meantime, here is a short yet sweet look at my new acquisitions. O' the joy: THE LAST REMAKE OF BEAU GESTE: My first purchase--on New Year's Day--of the year...and it's a dud I didn't need. I already have one of these. Why I bid on it (on some obscure online auction), I have no idea. I bid on about a dozen other things as well, all of which I was outbid on (of course!). The reason I even bothered with this poster is because, as a kid, I loved this silly film. I haven't seen it in decades though and, like I said, I have a copy of the poster already. Oh well. $5 plus shipping is not the worst thing I've ever was...
