The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025 #25

Oh my stars… Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama poster show! I’m surprised you’re here. I realize my last few entries have been… Rather lacking. I appreciate your faith in me that I’ll have something interesting to show you in the future. Notice I didn’t say “now”? That’s because now… Yeah, I don’t have anything interesting to show you today. It’s like that expression “same sh!t, different day”  one to life! That’s not to say that there aren’t things here you’ve never seen before. There might be. There are things I had never seen before in this batch. The question is, are they interesting or worth your time or not? I vote no… but that’s just me. I guess we’ll find out. Take a gander, if you choose to. The show is about to begin. Take a seat if you want to stay. Otherwise… Head to the exit exits while you can. VENOM : I know nothing about this movie. I think it was a big flop-a-rama, but I’m not sure. Why I get this? Well… What has been my driving force lately when making poste...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025 #24

Welcome back! The siege of substandard posters continues! These are all recent pickups/new additions… but they are certainly not worth your time. Don’t believe me? Fine… sit through today’s Shock-O-Rama Poster Show then. But be warned! You’ll never get these moments of your life back!!! Uh-oh…. The lights are dimming! Leave now of you’ll have to see the show… Eeek! CAPTAIN MARVEL (mini): Here’s another mini poster. Why the hell would I buy a mini poster? I have no idea. If you’ve been following my posts, you’ll know that I somehow bought several. I’m kind of stupid that way. I don’t even know why I bought this… As it’s superhero related and I’m not a superhero person at all.Whatever. I’ll just keep posting one of my stupid mini poster purchases until they’re gone. SOMETHING WILD : I have this already. It wasn’t the best movie ever. It was… Well, let’s just say it had potential. It could’ve been better. It reminded me of.WHAT’S UP DOC? But it was different and not as well execut...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025 #23

Welcome back. I know my last few Shock-O-Rama Poster Shows have been… less than interesting. But this one promises to be… more of the same, unfortunately. Run away now. Save yourself. Uh-oh… The lights are dimming and the show is about to begin. Get out now while the getting is good. Once the doors closed, and the lights are fully out, no one will be permitted to leave the auditorium. This is your final warning… Leave now! THE FOG ( remake ): I saw this and remember it being a pretty crappy movie. I’m glad I have a copy of the original poster. This was a freebie. Eh… RIVER OF DEATH : I have no idea why I bought this. RIVER OF DEATH? It looks like some  Rambo-esque action flick. Michael Dudikoff ? Ha ha ha ha. He certainly fell off the map. The rest of the cast is pretty well known… But the movie itself and the  poster? So not my thing. I don’t know what possessed me to buy it. It is a Cannon Film though. They got kind of crazy with their output and their movies were ...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025 #22:

Hello, and welcome back. You may want to leave now. What follows is sure to be one of the worst Shock-O-Rama Poster Shows ever. I am not being hyperbolic. It’s bad. How bad is it? If you must know, stick around. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. Proceed at your own risk. Stomach distress bags will not be available. Let’s get this over with… On Friday, November 7, I looked through the peep hole on my front door. There, on the porch, was a long rectangular box. I wasn’t expecting anything. I quickly pulled it into the house. (I was in my underwear —eeek!—and what little hair hasn’t fallen off my head yet was sprayed out all over the place like a mad scientist.) I looked at the label and saw that it was from my friend Gillian and her husband Jason . Jason works for UPS , which this package had been sent through. Occasionally, Jason will get a package of posters destined for a movie theater that no longer exists. He is supposed to destroy the posters, but he has taken to saving them...

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2025 #21

Hi there. Welcome back. I’ve got some new stuff to share…such as it is. Bunch of it is stuff I’ve forgotten to post in the past. There really isn’t that much to see. I kind of rushed through it because of that. Take a look or don’t. I’m not feeling all that fab today anyway so… It really doesn’t matter to me. Oh, the lights are dimming. It’s your last chance to leave. Otherwise, let the show begin… HENRY & JUNE: Normally, I would’ve passed on this poster. However, I realized it was the very first NC-17 movie ever released. So, for historical purposes, I thought why not? It was cheap. I never saw the movie though. THE COMPUTER WORE TENNIS SHOES: I may already have this. I don’t know. This is one of the Kurt Russell / Dexter Riley Disney flicks from the early 70s. I think they were a continuation of the Tommy Kirk Merlin Jones films… At least that at the same college or whatever, but with the younger actor/character. I’ve never seen them. Merlin Jones films though. I do remember...
