Monster A GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show

Greetings! Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. I really have no money right now and have no business buying anything. However, my birthday was coming up (It's TODAY, actually). As I will spend this birthday alone, trapped in my house with the world held hostage by the coronavirus outbreak, I thought I'd buy myself a few little tidbits and make it a somewhat fun birthday party for one. (And to think, last year I was celebrating in Rome! Ha!)  Oh well. It is what it is...and I'm NOT dead (yet). So, whoo hoo  and happy birthday to me. Let's unwrap my poster presents and see what exciting (or not so exciting...) things I got myself... CHARLIE'S ANGELS (2019 reboot International version) : UGH!!! Buying this was a total accident. Sure, although I was NOT a fan of the 2019 reboot of CHARLIE'S ANGELS (it had potential, but...), I loved the original series as a kid, I loved the first reboot with Drew Barrymore (the sequel---eh...), and I actually...

Tickets!  Get your tickets! The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show is about to begin... Hi there. I am back from my trip and finally have a few more poster to share. I did NOT find anything in Europe to buy, unfortunately...yet I have a couple of stories about Europe to share here. Anyway, the staff is ready to help you find your seat. The show will be starting in just a moment. ENJOY! GONE WITH THE WIND (1954 re-release) : I just got back from spending several weeks in Europe. While in England, I met/visited with a female movie poster collector friend o' mine and gifted her with a 1961 re-release poster for GONE WITH THE WIND. Then, on the l-o-n-g 12 1/2 hour flight home from Rome, I watched several movies. To help eat up time, one of the flicks I watched was GONE WITH THE WIND. While I was gone, I had occasionally logged on to poster auction sites. I'd bid randomly on an item here or there, but didn't follow the auction as the time zones were all off for me an...

Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show. Get your tickets now. The tour of my latest purchases is about to depart. ANDY WARHOL'S HOLLYWOOD (aka ANDY WARHOL'S HEAT ) : I had been wanting one of these for AGES. I had won one once before, but somehow the seller ruined the poster when preparing it for shipment. I was THRILLED to get this one---but unfortunately i was on vacation when it was up and had to use my phone for everything...and didn't realize until later that it was only a small 12x19 copy---NOT the full-sized poster size. Oh well. I'll take it. I found it extremely snore-inducing and DULL. I do like the HOLLYWOOD alternative title as used in Germany, though.  BIRTH OF THE LIVING DEAD: I have not seen this documentary on George Romero's 1968 horror opus, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. But I would love to. I've been after one of these for a while---and now, yippie---I finally have one. I dig the mondo-style art on ...
