The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2018 #21

Happy December!  Are you ready for the holidays? I'm not. And a lot of late in the year/early next year expenses have me curtailing my poster purchases. This will probably be my final posting for 2018...  Let's take a look: MAUSOLEUM: Yes, I already have one of these. It came with the poster below it. I've never seen MAUSOLEUM---which surprises the heck out of me. It's probably trash---I'm sure I'd love it. NIGHT OF THE ZOMBIES: I remember seeing this flick at a theater that no longer exists back in the day. I had cut class my freshman year of college to see it. I got there in my clunker old Mustang, saw the flick, and got back home. The next time I tried to drive, my car was dead. Phew! Had it died just one trip earlier, I'd have been stranded at the theater...and my class cutting would have been discovered. Ha! And for this movie? Hmm. Not the best zombie flick ever. Far from it, actually. I already have a copy of this poster

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2018 #20

Hello. Welcome to another SHOCK-O-RAMA POSTER SHOW! 2018 is winding down....  So many posters left to get... Oh well. I guess they'll have to wait for next year. Here's a look at some of my recent acquisitions. Take a gander...or don't! THE NIGHT OF THE WALKING DEAD: I paid way, way, W-A-Y too much for this poster. It is stained and torn and in pretty rough shape. Why bother? Because I had NEVER seen this poster before. Despite the title riffing on NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, this obscure Eurosploitation cheapy is about vampires instead of undead zombies, apparently. I must have been in a special kind of stupid fugue state when I bought this... HELLFEAST (Advance): I saw this flick a while back and thought it was good enough to catch on down the road (since it did so poorly at the box office). I got copies of the advance and the release poster for it. When they came up again at a reasonable price, I thought I'd go for it. I lo

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2018 # 19

Hi there! Welcome back to the SHOCK-O-RAMA POSTER SHOW! And happy (almost) HALLOWEEN! Any big plans for the spooky night? I don't know what I'll be doing, but I'll be doing it out of town. Yes, I'm running away for the holiday. So---here is my Halloween offering for this year. Not all of the posters are horror--and not all of them are even good--but there are a few gems in here (in my opinion). Take a gander...if you DARE! NIGHTMARES: This was a lot poster. I have several copies and didn't need another---but...  I saw this movie in the theaters. It is an anthology movie. It seems like there were four (?) segments, but I only remember  two of them---something about a video game and one about a woman going to the store alone with a serial killer on the loose. (The woman was so dumb---she "deserved to be killed"---but I don't recall her fate in the film. People were literally SCREAMING at her from the audience because she was so stupid.
