The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2018 #9

Hi there. Welcome to another snore-inducing, er...um, glamorous and exciting edition of the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show! Happy late-spring!  Eek. Summer is just around the corner---with its blazing temperatures and zillions of kids out of school (making movie-going often unbearable). Are you ready for the summer? Hopefully so. In the mean time, thank you for popping in. Please help yourself to a gander at my latest acquisitions... ALIEN SEED: This is a video poster for a direct-to-video movie I have never seen. Yes, it looks like total crap (although having Erik Estrada featured is a wonderful campy bonus). This was part of a lot (with the poster below it---which was the one I was going after). I got the lot for $10 plus shipping. So, $5 each isn't bad...  I wonder if this is worth seeing--even for camp value? ELVES: The second poster in the lot---and the one I wanted, "ELVES." I never saw this---but I know it went right to video and gave Dan Haggerty a job...

Monster-A-GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show RECREATION # 97

June 01, 2016, 12:12:55 PM Hi there.  Thanks for dropping in to see the latest posters being added to the Shock-A-Rama Horror Show! Oooooooo. As usual, there is a mix of the not-so-interesting (ho-hum...yawn....) and the interesting. (And there are WAY too many...) Sit back, relax, and let the posters begin.... A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2 (Thai) : Not long back, another collector on allposterforum.com and I were having a conversation about some really cool-a-rama Thai posters he had recently gotten. He had some AMAZING stuff. That got me thinking of all of the truly beautiful Thai stuff out there (argh! There goes my wallet!)...and there was a seller posting some stuff for sale...and...I already have a Thai A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET...why not get the sequel? Argh! So I did... FOOD OF THE GODS (Thai) : Since this was relatively inexpensive comparatively, I thought why not add it to the other order? So this also came from Pea. THANK YOU, PEA! THE VELVET VAMPIR...

Monster-A-GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show RECREATION # 100

June 14, 2016, 12:11:02 AM  Hi there. I just survived 3 days (36 hours) of 12-hour shifts. To celebrate, I thought I'd do a little mini-posting before my regularly scheduled posting in 2 days. These are all recent purchases, but most of these are things you've seen before on my thread--repeated buys--so why save them? THE LOST WORLD OF SINBAD: Another poster I already have (I think it's in that ancient video of mine showing my framed posters), but I think it's a better copy. Trading up... This Sinbad may seem obscure to you. It's NOT really a Sinbad film. It's a Japanese adventure fantasy film that was redubbed a Sinbad flick when it was imported to the US. That was NOT the original intent of the film makers. I've not since this Sinbad yet, but it would probably be strange watching a Japanese actor playing "Sinbad" after Kerwin Matthews or Patrick Wayne or whoever. MOVIE STAR AMERICAN STYLE OR LSD I HATE YOU: And ANOTHER repea...

Monster-A-GoGo's Shock-O-Rama Poster Show RECREATION # 99

June 09, 2016, 03:02:53 AM Hi there! Because I am bored and need to go to bed--but don't want to for some reason (even thopugh i am super sleepy), here is another bonus post of new-ish stuff. It's not the best stuff...I'm saving that for the regular post. THE HANGING WOMAN (aka BEYOND THE LIVING DEAD and RETURN OF THE ZOMBIES ) : I got one of these a while back, but this one is in better condition. This is such an obscure Euro zombie flick from the early 70s with Paul Naschy in it as a hunchback lab assistant, if i recall correctly. NOT a great film, or even a very good film...but as it's a zombie flick, I dig it. The titular hanging woman  (Ha!  That sounds funny just writing it) is only in the very beginning of the film...and, i think, her death was the precursor to some ancient curse--or some such mumbo jumbo. Whatever---who knows what movie goers were expecting with a misleading title like THE HANGING WOMAN, but I'm sure it was not a silly Euro zombi...
