The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2022 Special Edition: Top 10 Poster Purchases During 2022

Another year down, another year of posters passes. Although my poster purchasing took a huge nosedive this year, the poster gods still smiled on me. I actually managed to eke out some decent paper this year--not spectacular, but decent. In ascending order, here are my top 10 scores for the year: 10) CRUEL JAWS: Here's a prime example of the phrase 'One man's trash is another man's treasure.' Although this is in rough-ish shape ("Good to Very Good"), I love my JAWS ripoffs. CRUEL JAWS is one of the worst (cobbled together using footage from other JAWS ripoffs, including the the one Universal sued for copyright infringement and won, GREAT WHITE aka THE LAST SHARK). I had NEVER seen a poster for it before--or since. A search on eMovie's archives shows that this poster is the only copy they've ever sold. I am so glad I got it. Most wouldn't bother with this crap--but I love it. Thank you, eMovie! 9) DELUSION: Although I'd never seen the film

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2022 #7

Welcome back to the Shock-O-Rama Poster Show! The year is winding down and this is more than likely my final post for the year. (But don't think for a minute that I'll not try to forage on and start working on posts for next year. Au contrare! I actually already have a poster for that post--whenever it happens. I managed to squeeze out 7 posts this year. Last year it was 17. The year before that it was 25. My dwindling output is not due to a dwindling interest. It's simple economics (I'm dead broke.) and my health issues keep me from doing a lot of things (like real, live poster shopping instead of just the online kind.) It is what it is and I'll continue this passion of mine as long as possible.  Things being what they are, while there are a couple of goodies to be shared, most of the post is decidedly sub my usual standards. Beggars can't be choosers.  But let's take a look and see what I have for you today... LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE: You are probably star

The Shock-O-Rama Poster Show 2022 #6

And...we are B-A-C-K!!! It's only taken 1 1/2 months, but here we are.  I need to remind you that I am o' so poor these days. My offerings today may not be of much interest, but they are all I have to share at the moment. I'll tell you what. You've been a kind and loyal audience all of these years. Because the posters are not going to knock anyone out of the park (or even off a bleacher), tonight's poster show is on me. NO COST! Totally FREE! Deal? (The snack bar is a whole other story though. You are on your own there.) Okie dokie, let's get this show going...  AFTER MEIN KAMPF: I'm not sure why I decided to get the poster, other than than it was cheap--and the listing was pulled by eBay. I got this from a dealer in South America.  I'd been watching the listing (as well as others).  It expired. It was relisted, but ended shortly there after. I guess eBay censored it? The seller didnt know why it happened, but he relisted it again-- but listed it in Span
